An evening of wonder filled music to celebrate the miracle of Christmas with Windham Hill / ArkMusic recording artists JEFF JOHNSON (vocals & keyboards) & BRIAN DUNNING (flutes & whistles) and special guest, GWEN FRANZ (viola).   The American/Irish duo’s music has become a mainstay in the Contemporary Celtic music genre with many of the songs from the duo’s popular Christmas recordings performed in this concert.

Oliver Aldort, cellist

13-year old Oliver Aldort is junior strings USA national winner in the Music Teachers National Association competitions 2007 and is “quite simply…a mature musician”. He appeared as soloist for the Skagit Symphony 2007 Masterpiece Concert, was featured on national public radio “From the Top” in 2005 and heard on CBC radio in Vancouver at age 11.

The Moonlight Swing Orchestra

The Moonlight Swing Orchestra is a band in the style of the great Swing Bands of the 30’s and 40’s, providing the nostalgic sounds of the Big Band Era: Romantic Ballards and Waltzes, Snazzy Fox Trots, Upbeat Latin Tempos and of course Wonderful East and West Coast Swing.  Directed by current band leader Burch Johnson.
